It’s a great site, in fairness, just what Cork needs. Maybe as well as using word of mouth, explore other options too, like try to get some free plugs from the film festival? Get an ad in the guide or something?

Goddamit. I went in town about quarter to 8 and drove around for an hour looking for parking. The closest I could find was near Barrack Street and it was half eight then so I said feck it and went home.
Will there be another one soon?
I have my own MBox and Pro Tools for editing. Don’t have any of the recording equipment but I could try to sort something out if the position is still available.

Hey Dan, it’s Barry from the lighting workshop in the Savoy. I’d be delighted to work on it. I’d do the lighting but I love audio work, I even have my own Pro Tools rig (and was thought by the master who goes by the name Rupert).
What positions are you looking to fill? I’d be more than happy to work on it.

Hey all.
I’m Barry, I found the site a while back but never joined. I met some of the lads at the lighting workshop in the Savoy yesterday and decided maybe it’s time to show my face here.
I studied Computer Game Design & Development in St. Johns and I just completed my HND in Multimedia in CSN.
I’m interested in all aspects of film/TV production and also in audio and music produciton. My main area’s of interest and work are CGI. I use 3DS Max and Discreet Combustion.
At the moment I don’t have a job so am available at almost any time to work. If anybody needs a hand in any production, not just in CGI, I’ll be more than willing so gimme a shout!
