[/quote:4f23d]
Very well made documentary, the deafening sound at the end really made it, perfect to see it in the Cinema where you cant control the volume, this documentary made a very valid argument.[quote:4f23d]Strangely Strange But Oddly Normal
Conor Heffernan
Ireland | 2007 | 30mins | DVD | Colour
A journey to meet sixties’ acid folk band, and the best kept secret in Irish rock history; Dr Strangely Strange.[/quote:4f23d]
Vey well produced documentary, i felt it may have been slightly long winded, would appeal more to people who knew the band i think but it has to be said the production value on this one was the best.those were my favourite ones in order of preference, the rest were all pretty good, but i would put my money on one the ones above to win.

MemberActually it starts at 6 Sean, so its probably wiser to be there for 5.30
A lot of people have expressed an interest so far we have a few writers and directors showing up along with crew members, we have actors galore available but the more the merrier.
So far we have 2 camera’s and a lighting kit, would be great if someone showed up with a sound background. Or if you want to do your own film and cant find the cast and crew bring your camera along and we’ll help you get organised.
Have no idea what we will be shooting or where and if you can’t make it at 6ish at the triskal just text us your number and we’ll contact you when we know more details
send your text of interest to 083 3348285
Rmember filmmaking is a collaborative effort, the more hands you have around to help the better the result!

MemberCouldn’t agree more Inky, well put.
I have noticed over the past year there have been lots of new people joining, and not posting, we try to involve as many people as we can into what we are trying to achieve and the only way to get involved is by posting up your skills and interests, and by attending events and not to be afraid to approach and talk to any one of us. (i like to think we are approachable anyway)

Memberhere is a freeware program, you could try it out,
I’ve never had to put subtitles on and if i did i would probaby just add them as text layers in Final Cut, but that makes the subtitle permanent, and would not give a dvd the option to change subtitles.

This on is a PC Freeware program for DVD’s, allows you to add multiple subtitle layers to DVDs.
give it a whack and see how you get on.Dan
