Sorry bout the big gap in posts here but we’ve been up to our eyes . All Good though ! Just to let everyone know myself and Dan had a meeting last night and we sketched out a bit of a timeline for ourselves. We’re gonna have a meet n Greet night in the next month or so but
in the meantime we are planning a few things that will appear in the Website
in the upcoming section soon. We’re gonna try and raise the production value of the next
project considerably so the order of the day will be as many as possible on set so we’re hoping that all who can will take the time to come along and get involved in one of the shoots. Whether that be acting, Extras work or just holding the mic and helping out around doesn’t matter. we’d just like to get as many as possible involved in them. Dan will have more details for ye soon.
We’re hoping to reshoot one of the shorts we’ve already done , Voices , because in fairness it was well received last Sunday at the screening and
yet we know we can improve the production value and sound no end. We’re hoping to do that in about 3 weeks time
hopefully getting a location and a few read throughs , That’s definitely one to try and get involved in.Cheers and keep checking for news

Im Marie and discovered this snazy site from a loverly bloke who gave me a flier up by the firkin crane today. Its a great idea and Im willing to involve myself in anything ye’d involve me in. I just wanna say to Dan and Sean and whoever else is responsible for this that I really admire what you are doing. I think this is the beginning of something great for up and comers in Cork.
This is exactly what I would wish to see happen, since normally the world of film production, especially casting is very closed off and insular. This is the best way possible to set up a community in Cork where everyone can hopefully get the oppportunity to be part of a production.Good stuff fellas, fair doooooooooz!!

I’m delighted that things are building a bit , we’ve got a good bit of a mix coming in. and that’s what I like to see. In about 2 weeks time I whink we should try and organise a meet n Greet for
People to get together in town and discuss some projects and and start networking . Dan has a few ideas in the pan but they probably won’t be materialising for about a month . One that is definitely going to need some
bodies is a script I’m working on with Dan, Story is fleshed out and a lot of the cinematic things are planned , just the dialogue to fill in but it’s set on a busy train so whoever is playing the main characters don’t really matter , we’ll be hoping that as many as are available on the day’s will turn up as extras and help out with crewing. Oh and we need a train carriage , if anyone’s got one handy ……Anyway, keep checking back and use the forum to chat to others, it’s all about the experience ,

We have a few projects on the horizon, 3 members of our forum are acting in a short on sunday week, plus myself and Sean, If anyone would like to tag along and check it out I’m sure we could fit you in as extras like!
I will post the place and time of the production as soon as I have one booked, It would be nice to meet a few folks from the forum there, an informal meet & greet.
Myself and Sean are looking into organising an official meet and greet night so we can talk about what we are going to be doing, and to get some people acting, directing, writing etc, So make sure you get to one of those nights as I think thats why y’all logged on!
Just a quick note, we are currently looking for scripts and short story ideas, we have a few directors here who are screaming for a bit of work, as soon as those guys get going all you actors out there will be up on the big screen, so any help at all on short scripts would be great!
