ruthhayesMemberRightly so! Cork has such a disparity of landscape it makes a perfect location for filming.
ruthhayesMemberdoes one need an excuse?

there is one in the Irish shorts section that’s very good. it’s called Crosswords. it was screened at the Galway film festival this yr also. Watch out for the lead guy in this…….he’s my brother!!!

ruthhayesMemberSounds great Sean,
i’m gutted I couldn’t go this year. next year definately. Hopefully it will keep growing from strength to strength.
RuthruthhayesMemberi’d be up for that. there’s a lot of crap irish films being made as well (god knows how they get funded) but it’s definately worth supporting an ailing industry. it benefits us all in the end!
ruthhayesMemberi’m sorry Breakfast didn’t get in Eoin. i know you put a lot of work into it. i’d love to see it. have you considered a screening or maybe tagging it on to the next egomotion screening night whenever that may be?
congratulations to all who got through to the film fest this year. keep it going lads..let’s keep the Cork Film making community alive and well
ruthhayesMemberYa, i’m booked in to this masterclass. Not sure if it’s morning or afternoon. will know on Monday. it should be good. I did a course in dublin last year with Mary Maguire, she’ s a legend!
