Hi Sean. I ordered one alright. Think they’re making them at the moment. Should be useful when it gets here.

That was a great night. We need the Filmmakers of Cork to come along to the next one!

That’s a good list. Nice to know I’m not the only one who has to improve in some of those areas. <img loading=” title=”Very Happy” />

Looks good. Hope they bring one out for the 7D soon. Or better still that Canon incorporate it into their next firmware update.

Great! Thanks Ruth, I’ve got my Irish shorts tickets so I’ll keep an eye out for Crosswords.

Other than the Made In Cork’s anyone recommend anything else in the catalogue?

I’ve bought my season pass and already picked up a load of tickets but it’s been mostly guess work. If anyone knows anything about any of the films I’d love to hear from ye?

Hi Dave! I was just thinking the other day that it would be nice to have some more members from outside Cork and here you are. Welcome. Looking forward to hearing about your projects and thoughts over the coming months.

Saw it last Monday. Very enjoyable. I’ve been fortunate to see the Star Wars trilogy, Casablanca and now Back to the Future on the big screen. I love watching films I’ve watched loads of times back on the big screen.

It’s always nice to see the classics back on the big screen. Always wondered why the Kino didn’t get into this kind of thing when it was struggling for finances.

Any idea if they’ll be re-releasing the other 2?

Fantastic idea Dan, I’ve been looking around for shorts for a while. I have a few on DVD and on my computer somewhere that might be interesting too.

Hi Ciara, me again. <img loading=” title=”Smile” /> Beyond structure and format what are you teaching in this course?

Hi Ciara, I assume this is a beginners course? I’ve learnt most of my filmmaking skills from trial and error and books, but having made one short I’m not sure how much I’d get out of a 10 week beginners course?

Very happy with my 7D. Want to get more lenses for it, but have to wait till I can afford it. Would love to take it out more but haven’t had too much spare time to go filming of late.

Damn! Sorry I missed it lads. Didn’t hear a thing about it!

I have subscribed to the pages but don’t always get the updates. Keeps happening that I get a notification email out of the blue and when I log on I’ve missed a few things.

With Facebook, Twitter and RSS feeds I don’t get a chance to log on here as often as I need to. Don’t know how I missed the facebook thing though?

    Hopefully catch you all soon.

    Eoin.
