Announcing a Gala Evening.
Rebelz Picturz Debut with Premiere of First Film ‘The O’Herne Identity.’
Rebelz Picturz the newly formed Cork film company are proud to announce the premier screening of their first film; an action comedy entitled ‘The O’Herne Identity’. A freak accident involving Chronic Masturbatory Syndrome and radioactive waste leaves our Cork hero “Jack O’Herne” with the super-human ability to shoot acid from his body. His initial ignorance of his ‘lethal weapon’ results in the accidental death of his girlfriend, “Niamh”. The CIA attempt to extract his power but, during his incarceration, Jack hones his skills and escapes. To recapture him they hire a consultant, code name “Nemesis,” whose ultimate motive is to avenge the death of the love of his life, Niamh, whom Jack stole. Can Jack evade, out manoeuvre and outsmart the Cork office of the CIA? Does the CIA really have a secret headquarters under Shandon bells? Find out Friday October 8th 7.30pm at the Crane Lane Theatre.
Promising a Gala Evening the Rebelz crew are inviting the public to ‘dress for the red carpet’, and join them for a sensational evening of celebration. The company announce their existence to the world, with this new short film, which has a definite ‘made in Cork’ stamp on it.
