Ok when it comes to the Oscars I have to admit I’m a fan watch them every year. No real surprises though which was disappointing.I was happy that Juno won best script, Atonement best score and The Bourne Ultimatum best editing. The highlight though was when Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova won best song, it was a great moment . Her speech was one of the best speeches of the night.

You have to keep watching to see Marketa Irglova’s speech!

Dead right, man. Her speech was excellent.

yeah i make a point of staying up too and i must say her speech, as was Glens, were very heart-warming. Go on the Oirish!

Glad that the Coens won best picture and Best supporting actor, Atonement with best original score was a dead cert too, thought that was an excellent score, also thought it might have picked up best cinematography too, they both kinda went hand in hand with that particular film I thought.
We should hold our own Oscar Party next year too!
