Hey peeps! I am filming a music video for Valerie at the moment. The last act of the video is Valerie playing to a crowd in a venue in town. The venue has been organised, so I was hoping I could get people here to give me a hand with the ‘enthusiastic crowd’ bit! Can I get some idea of how many people might be able to make it on Sunday the 21st of January? We’ll be filming between 10am and 5pm. It should be good fun, and hopefully we’ll get a great video from it too – which we plan on sending to all the Music TV stations. So who can I count on?

Okay – it’s going to be the 27th January now – a Sunday. So who can make it? All you got to do is look like you’re enjoying yourself! We intend on sending the vid to all the cable music channels, along with certain festivals etc. Your presence would be greatly appreciated!

Bring a friend ,
Director hasn’t discussed dress , so just wear something nice , as if you were going to a gig .
PM SeanBreathnach with the offer of crewing , but I think we might be covered.
It’s going to be fun , I’m looking forward to it !!January 27, 2008 at 8:57 pm #4251
Really enjoyed the shoot today and Well done to everybody , the crowd were really great and everyone really pulled their weight , it was a real pleasure to see how well a shoot can go, and it’s always been good , but I can really see everything raising up a notch , without a hitch.
For those who didn’t make it along today, not to worry there’ll be more opportunities over the year to get in on a shoot,
So we’ll see you there
Again thanks to everyone who was there I really really enjoyed it
So tired Last Night , I forgot to mention the amazing help we had from the Staff at the Crane Lane , Felix really looked after us , and Many thatnks to Benni and Guillermo for greenlighting it in the first place. Justin the sound engineer went above the call of duty to come in on a Sunday and hook up the CD player for us. Really was great and we were well looked after.

Thanks a million to everyone involved. And a huge thanks to the Crane Lane for having us and looking after us. The crew were superb as ever. The extras were top class – you couldn’t have gotten better. It was an excellent shoot and I am dying to get into the edit and start playing around with the great shots we got. I’ll keep ye posted as to how things are progressing!

Valerie here. I know this post is a week late but I want to say thanks a million to everyone who helped out for the music video especially Sean B for writing/directing, Paraic for filming, Sean for producing, Dan & Desiree for lots of stuff, Adrian for acting, Rupert for the brilliant lights and technical stuff, James for the costume, Doug for drums plus Amelie and all the gang of enthusiastic volunteers. A big thanks also to Benny McCabe for letting us use the wonderful Crane Lane part of the shoot. Without wanting this to sound like an Oscars speech I really appreciate all your input and efforts. It was great crack and looking forward to seeing the finished product!! Sean (Breathnach) has the lucky job of editing it at the mo and it’s looking good. Will let ye know when it’s ready for viewing.
