Another good reason to attend the National Campaign for the Arts meeting[/url:lu1dj7lb].
Kino will be a major loss to Cork, and to independent cinema in Ireland. Hopefully it’s still not too late.

Would love to attend the meeting Eoin but unfortunately work commitments are bogging me down at the moment and there is just no way I could attend.I hear lots of interesting snippets on the news about investors donating funds to keep the kino open, but we’ll just have to wait and see. If anyone could find out more information or is directly involved with the Kino, then it might be handy to know a bit more, maybe we could host a screening night there to raise funds? (after the masses attending the film fest of course)
The meeting’s been moved to The Opera House to accommodate the large numbers expected.

Heres a a 15 min edit of the meeting,
(Make sure that HD is turned off, some strange reason sound disappears on me when in HD mode, might be just my connection…)
