An 8 week evening course for anyone interested in deepening their skill in Directing, Acting or Camerawork and create showreel pieces in the process. It is open to both actors and film-makers to apply.
Film-makers will learn how to get the best from their actors, maximise the dramatic impact of a scene and hone their camera skills.
Actors will learn how to work the camera, understand what directors need and improve their understanding of the film-making process.
Film-makers and actors will work together through guided exercises/shoots to improve their skills and create showreel pieces.
This course is perfectly suited for anyone who has already completed a beginner’s level film-making course but all applicants will be considered. Actors applying need have no film-making experience.
