Hello everyone!
I’m new to the group and pretty new to Cork City.
Ive recently directed, edited and animated a short, based on the medieval Irish text, ‘Aided Oenfer Aoife’ (The death of Aoife’s only son) which includes the Irish hero Cú Chulainn. Its essentially a studenty film and the sole reason for me moving to Scotland for two years to produce it. Its been well received in festivals internationally (France, Chicago, Washington, Holland, Italy (where it screened alongside the ‘Secret of Kells’), England, Canada and a few events throughout Ireland.) and has just won the ReelsShow International Student Film Festival which I am thrilled about. I am a huge fan of Irish folklore and would love to continue working in this area. I’m currently seeking studio/industry work. Please take a look at my short.
