Throughout this workshop you will learn about your comedic potential.
We will explore it and develop it.
We will regain the pleasure of ‘Play’ with yourself and others.
Finding your clown will help you hugely to increase self-confidence
and the use of your body language. For actors and non-actors, you can
guarantee you will discover a lot about yourself. The level of the
workshop will be set according to the participants experience.
Based on tecniques coming from Jacques LeCoq, Phillip Gaullier, and
other teachers of Clowning, together with basic exercises from
Commedia dell’Arte and Improvisation, we will attempt to understand
the underlying principles of clowning:
– Do not act, just react
– A Clown is only a clown with an audience
– A Clown occurs in the audience’s mind
– Find the pleasure in everything
– Find the Game in everything
– Take your audience in the Journey
