Underground Cinema are delighted to be screening our good friend Dermott Pettys’ feature film Manband. Manband is the first of seven features that Underground Cinema will be screening over the next year.
The Manband script follows two music producers, Louie and Joey on an new assignment, to find the next thing hottest thing for reality TV. As former promoters of boybands it only seems logical that Joey would inspire to create a Manband. The television company plans to film their new creation from discovery to reality. From this point the film takes off, involved in auditions, television sabotage, bad folk music, bad dancing and a Manband of misfits.
With Dermott in attendance on the night to answer any questions you may have on the making of Manband and with scores of other film makers who have made Underground Cinema such a success over the past four months, this is one night not to be missed.
