    The nominations for the first Underground Cinema awards were announced on friday. The ceremony takes place September 18th at Fitzpatricks Castle Hotel in Kiliney, Dublin. Cork based actors Shane Casey and George Hanover both received nominations as well as Páraic English for cinematography and myself for screenplay and direction for my short film Heart.
