F-stop academy held a workshop in Bulgaria last month teaching a group of film
makers how to achieve the film look using low cost HD video
cameras.
In between the packed days of training Philip created the short
film ‘Sofias people’ shooting on the Canon 5D mkII and a 50mm Zeiss
f1.4 ZF lens using an eos bayonet adaptor .
They shot the making of Sofias people also on the 5D mkII using an
eos 16-35mm F2.8 L series zoom.
Sofias people was a very simple film, one lens, one camera, no
filters and no grading. They simply filmed the people they met on the
street whilst they walked for dinner both nights.
