I just enrolled for a film & tv production course at St. John’s Central College and as part of the course I am required to untertake a work experience placement.
I’ve got some experience as a runner and production assistant so I’m sure I could be of great help. If you know about anyone in or around Cork who might need an extra hand in their production please let me know!!
Hi. I know i probably wouldn’t ever be needed, I have editing and filming experience. I have worked with Wildacre productions on numerous shoots (though none were of films, mostly promos etc.), and I have amateur editing experience, Final Cut (recently), and iMovie.
Just thought I’d get that out there, just in case the 3,450 better editors living in the Cork area were suddenly MIA… ” title=”Cool” />
Good luck with your Work Experience and the course. I did it myself and I have to say it’s brilliant. Just stick out first year and you’ll be fine.
Unfortunatly nearly everyone has to settle with crappy workexperience and the only way out of it is going to Dublin or maybe out of the country. What y0u really get marks for though is the work experience folder so the actual job isnt to important.
It’s good to know I can do work experience abroad as my class is quite crowded and everybody will be looking for opportunities here in Cork. Thanks for the tip!..
