I think the old Fruit/veg place down Marina is with a holding company/estate agents at the moment who seem alright .
I don’t have any contact for them but I think that some events in the Midsummer festival were held down there . there’s probably a number up on a big board down there .
Oh yes! I went to see The Hairy Ape there during the midsummer fest. It was very good actually..
Thanks; I’d forgotton about that place ” title=”Smile” />
hay ya,
the old distillery near Fitzgerald’s park, behind the river, it might be ok for filming, i was part at the show of midsummer festival and we used this warehouse. the show was on every night for seven days…
it was the IOWA project by Hammergrin it was really great, i was helping with setting up the place, and then was in the show, well it was a sci-fi play. Sure you can still read about it here are some links:
It was promenade play and i really never seen anything like that before, it was fun and people nice, and good experience and the place was just right:-)
Oh wow, that sounds great! I wish I has seen more stuff at the Midsummer fest. Must make more of an effort next year. I can’t watch the youutube vid ’cause I’m at work but I will later.
The building across from the Old Oak inbetween the Brown Thomas Mens section and Scotts(currently being used for design week) would look amazing for a warehouse film scene. It was all I could think about when I was in there. Check it out!
