Help needed – location info

Hi all,
I’m working on a script for the Cork Film Centre awards which is very visually stimulating and requires a specific location.

The elysian tower would serve very well as the backdrop for the project, but I need to find out if there is a patch of wasteland or desolate street area with a good clear view of it for the script to work.

Unfortunately I won’t be in Cork until after the deadline so I can’t do the location research myself. Anyone live nearby and able to inform me or take a snap or two?

Hi Mairtin,

there’s a bit of a derelict spot on the east side of the footbridge that crosses over the southlink – the one just at the start of the link and there’s a pretty decent view of the elysian tower – I was shooting a few GVs from the footbridge and there was a bunch of homeless guys boozin there – they probably helped to make the place look more derelict
