So folks, what machines does everyone use nowadays? Long gone are the day sof claris works and OS9.

I am currently using the new iMac 2.4Ghz with 2GB of RAM and a 20" screen. Looking to get a second display. Wrks great with Final Cut Pro and Leopard.

So what’s the general consensus of mac out there?

currently using a dual 2ghz G5, leopard, 20 inch display 3 gig ram and 1.2tb of storage.

Mac mini 2Gb Ram , 1.66Ghz Core duo , Dual boot Leopard and Tiger ( Tiger on the 500gig external FW drive )

Love that Mac Mini , it’s the coolest little thing.

MacPro quad core, 2Ghz, 8G ram, two 17" monitors….need I say more…Well its not actually mine its my old man’s, but I use it, and I have a MacBook which is mint too. My family has always been a Mac family, none of that Windows .exe bullcock for me thank you!

OK seen as everyone so far on this thread is a MAC user I gotta represent the other side!!!

Although I trained on Avid (on MACs) I have worked on windows (PC) always and have never quite felt at home with MACs. I edit on my PC which has an Intel Celeron 2.67 Ghz and 1 Gig of RAM – should really upgrade to 2Gigs of RAM but I use Sony Vegas Pro 8 for editing and I can cut HDV fine with just 1 Gig – still would be better to have 2.
