Feature Film Crew Needed!

We are currently looking to fill a number of crew roles for a feature length film, which is being shot in Cork during the months of March and April. It is a low budget shoot that will last for 4 to 6 weeks during this time. The film itself is set in 1920’s – 1950’s Ireland, following the life of Michael MacLiammoir, Hilton Edwards and Orson Welles and the foundation of the Gate Theatre in Dublin, and the relationship turbulent between all three.

Since this is a a low budget feature, it will not be possible to pay crew for their work, but all meals etc during the shoot will be catered for. More importantly, it’s an opportunity to be involved in a full length feature film that is being shot entirely in Cork, with a strong script and visual nature behind it. With a strong crew, it has the potential to go quite far.

Casting is complete and rehearsing has already commenced, therefore we would like to start filming immediately.

We are looking to fill the following roles:

Producer
Assistant Director
Director of Photography
2nd A.D
Lighting
Sound Recordist/Boom Op
Continuity
Costume and Make-Up

Previous Experience in all roles would be quite necessary, and we are looking for an immediate start from both Producer and A.D’s.
