Hi,
I’d like to tell people about a free scriptwriting program I’ve been using called
"Celtx" that can be found at http://www.celtx.com, I find it’s almost as good as Final Draft
which costs well over a hundred euro.[b:2ukmx20y]SORRY! I DON’T KNOW HOW I MISSED THE POST BY EGODAN!
RE: CELTX[/b:2ukmx20y][/color:2ukmx20y]I’d also like to mention to Dan or one of the others here at the site that the sound on
the Trailers page is not working for me. is it recorded with VBR and not CBR?
For me it sounds like Donald Duck when I view it on the net. Just thought I’d mention it.Cheers,

Next time I’ll try and tell you something you don’t know ” title=”Very Happy” />
btw, what do you think of my comment regarding VBR vs. CBR on the net?
Most web browsers just can’t figure out how to play VBR (variable bit rate) on the net
so the sound speeds up and slows down and sounds like Donald Duck. This goes for mp3
music as well as video encoded with mp3.After viewing your Trails on the "eye ball catching" page in my browser this seemed
to be the problem.Just trying to be helpful, just recode the video files (flv) with CBR (constant bit rate).
You can put the kettle on now
cheers,

What Browser are you using ? have you got the latest Quicktime and Flash installed ?Cheers for pointing it out though
May 17, 2008 at 4:26 pm #5032firebugMemberI usually use firefox with the latest plugins, but I just tested it with IE8.
On IE8 it is taking a very long time to buffer and I have a fairly fast connection (5Mbit).
If you are using anything other then flv for your trailers like quicktime (quicktime is good for
editing but not good for the net) or realmedia (realmedia has a good file size for
sending acoss the net, but not for streaming) you should convert to flv for videos,
if for no other reason then it buffers fast and plays quick. The Riva converter used to be free but now they want money (sic mundo transit)
there are still some copies of the free version floating around on the net. If you like
I could email you one.cheers
